Mike Bedik is an award-winning composer, filmmaker, and songwriter with a lifelong passion for music and storytelling.
Mike’s career began in the 1980s performing on Hollywood’s legendary Sunset Strip, eventually
leading to collaborations with some of the industry’s most respected names, including Phil
Ramone, Elliot Scheiner, and Rob Cavallo.
Today, As house composer for TYPHOON TRKS, Mike creates music for film, television, and sync, blending cinematic orchestration with
modern production. His scoring credits include award-winning films such as The Hidden
Wounds of War, Big Band’s Last Stand, and Women of War, projects where he often played
multiple roles—co-writing, producing, shooting, editing, and composing.
Mike’s music has been featured in productions including Melrose Place and the 1997 Winter
Olympics, reflecting a career that bridges both the music industry and visual media.
As co-founder of TyphoonOnDemand, a global streaming platform for independent films and
shows, Mike continues to support and empower creators worldwide.
What sets Mike apart is his dual perspective as both composer and editor. He understands how
music needs to work inside a scene—how it moves, breathes, and syncs with picture—resulting
